§ 18-31. Required; selection and installation generally; exception for multifamily dwellings, etc.

No water for domestic, business, construction or irrigation purposes shall be furnished by the city to any person in the city unless such water shall pass through and be measured by a standard water meter, selected and installed by or under the supervision of the city commission; provided, however, that multifamily dwellings and trailer parks may have one (1) meter and shall pay the standard minimum charge per month for each apartment or dwelling unit together with the standard monthly charge for the gallonage over the minimum.
